Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a themed area within the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, based on the popular Pixar movie franchise Toy Story (1995). It immerses visitors into the world of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and other beloved characters from the films. The land officially opened to the public on June 30, 2018.
Some highlights of Toy Story Land include the family-friendly roller coaster called Slinky Dog Dash. The coaster takes guests on a thrilling ride through the backyard on the back of Slinky Dog. Toy Story Mania! is another fun attraction that offers an interactive 4D shooting game where guests wear 3D glasses and take aim at targets using their toy blasters. Lastly, the land also holds Alien Swirling Saucers, a spinning ride featuring the little green aliens from Pizza Planet.
The entire land is designed to make visitors feel like they've been shrunk down to the size of toys. Giant versions of familiar toys, props, and characters (such as the Buzz Lightyear in this puzzle!) populate the area, creating an immersive experience.
Hungry? There's a quick-service dining location called Woody's Lunch Box, styled after a retro lunch box with a variety of sandwiches, snacks, and refreshments. If you're looking for a table-service restaurant, the land has Roundup Rodeo BBQ. Diners can rustle up some tasty BBQ fare at this western-themed restaurant, where you’ll see the world through the eyes of Andy’s toys.
Additionally, the land offers character meet-and-greets where guests can meet and take photos with characters from the Toy Story films, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the Green Army Men.
