Disney Announces Magic Kingdom Halloween Dessert Party!

The most “spook-tacular” time of the year is fast approaching! Walt Disney World Resort is preparing to bring out the fall decor with spectacular Halloween-inspired activities.

Disney said goodbye to last year’s After Hours Boo Bash and has announced the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to be held at Magic Kingdom Park on select nights between August 12 and October 31, 2022.

As Disney Park fans prepare for this frightfully fun special-ticketed event just days away, Disney is sharing all the fantastic news of events and experiences that will surround the Halloween Party.

Disney recently shared the full Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party food and beverage selections but also announced that they are bringing back Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party!

“For an even sweeter evening, you can indulge in a wickedly delicious Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party held at Tomorrowland Terrace. This festive addition lets you sip and snack on mouthwatering, Halloween-themed concoctions, including Pumpkin Cupcakes with frosting, Chocolate-covered Strawberries, Cheesecake Mousse with chocolate crumble topping and crisp pearls, and Pistachio White Chocolate Crunch Bar striped with purple chocolate and sprinkled with orange sanding sugar – how tasty!”

And did I mention this is all-you-care-to-enjoy sweets and specialty drinks? Plus, it gives you guaranteed viewing for “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” Be sure to book this one online beginning Aug. 9, as it fills quickly with witches, sorcerers, and treat-lovers alike.

The Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party is available at an extra cost to Guests that are already ticket holders for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace includes: A bewitching buffet of swoon-worthy sweets and sips at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant; Awe-inspiring views of Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks

Sweets & Sips to Savor: Raise your glass for a ghostly toast of sparkling beverages while indulging in Halloween-themed eats, including:

Desserts: Chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, seasonal fruits, cheeses and other ghoulish goodies created daily by our master pastry chef

Beverages: Sparkling beverages, signature lemonades, coffee and tea; additionally, beer and wine will be available to Guests 21 and over

A Spectacular Show: Top off this delectable event with sweeping views of Disney’s Not-So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show over Cinderella Castle. It’s a spellbinding display of color, music and light that’s sure to send spirits soaring!

The event dates include:

  • August 12, 16, 19, 23, 26 and 30
  • September 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 30
  • October 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31

With booking becoming available online as of August 9, Disney has revealed the price is $115 (including tax and gratuity) for Guests ages 10 and older and $69 (including tax and gratuity) for Guests ages 3 to 9.

Looking to save a little money? Guests can also check out Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing for $99 per adult and $59 per child, which boasts excellent views of Cinderella Castle during the nighttime spectacular.

Keep in mind that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has several special treats for purchase, along with plenty of complimentary trick-or-treat candy. If you find yourself with the priority to experience Disney characters in costumes and attractions during the Disney Halloween Party, this Dessert Party may not be the fit for you.
