Toy Story 5 (2026) will officially begin streaming on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, according to an announcement from Disney and Pixar on their Instagram accounts.
The companies shared the news with a short video featuring several familiar faces. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Lilypad, and Smarty Pants celebrate in the clip, with Lilypad displaying the message, “Hi! Let’s play!” on the character’s screen.
The September arrival comes just over three months after Toy Story 5 (2026) opened in theaters on June 19.
The movie also features Taylor Swift’s song “I knew it, I knew you,” bringing another major pop-culture name into the latest chapter of the Pixar franchise.
Disney has already started bringing the movie into homes, too.
Toy Story 5 (2026) became available for digital purchase on August 18. Fans who prefer a physical copy can pick up the Blu-ray beginning September 22. Disney+ subscribers then get access one day later.
That gives audiences multiple ways to watch the movie at home following its successful summer in theaters.
Audiences Pushed ‘Toy Story 5’ Beyond $1 Billion
There is little question that audiences were ready for another Toy Story adventure.
