Guests planning to visit Disneyland Resort tomorrow should take note of several planned demonstrations.
Political conversations rarely make it onto Disney property – at least not loudly – but recent years have seen several movements cross into Mickey Mouse’s domain.

For example, in December 2023, protestors marched up and down Harbor Boulevard outside Disneyland Resort to call out the Walt Disney Company’s financial support of Israeli aid organizations.
Earlier that same year, Neo-Nazi groups situated themselves outside the gates of Walt Disney World Resort, armed with an array of antisemitic, white supremacist, and anti-LGBTQ signs.
Two Contrasting “Invasion” Events Planned for Disneyland Tomorrow
Tomorrow (February 28), Disneyland Resort will be the scene of two protests (via Orange County Register).
The first is the Disneyland MAGA Invasion, organized by the 805 Patriots, a political activist group that regularly organizes flag runs to support both President Donald Trump and Republican causes. The Patriots in the Park event vows to call attention to the group’s desire to see a “return to American roots and classic values.”

The group, which has sold merch for the event, wrote on Facebook: “We are not there to cause problems. We are attending to give as many like-minded patriots as possible the opportunity to make memories with their families and friends while being proud of their beliefs!”
A Gay Days event (an unofficial Disney park event) is also planned for Disneyland tomorrow, but the 805 Patriots insist that this is a coincidence. “Both groups intend to enjoy the park without interference,” it said on Facebook.
How Will The Events Impact Park Operations?
Notably, only one of the two “invasion” events is planned to take place in the actual parks.
It’s unclear whether either will impact Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park operations. The 805 Patriots insist that the meetup is “strictly recreational” and is “not a march, protest, demonstration or political action.”
It wrote:
The Brown Berets of California have also clarified that its own protest will take place “outside the park.”
Theoretically, that means guests should be able to enjoy the likes of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, Radiator Springs Racers, and other iconic attractions without any obstacles.
Disneyland Resort explicitly bans any “flags and banners” in its theme parks, as well as any “unauthorized events, speeches, or use of any flag, banner, sign or other material for commercial purposes, or as part of a demonstration.”
