Even in the best-case scenario, Villains Land won’t open until the early 2030s. That’s nearly a decade away, and history tells us that many projects announced this far in advance never make it. The Mary Poppins ride and Play! Pavilion at EPCOT are just two examples of concepts that were once official, only to vanish later without fanfare.
