Disney’s 2025 Halloween Party Tickets Will Disappear Soon

You’d think there’s still plenty of time before Halloween, but Disney fans know better. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the park's hottest tickets, and it’s already proving tricky to get.

If you’re picturing yourself strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. in costume this fall, you’ll want to read on before those plans vanish into thin air.

Disney World’s Fall Transformation

Halloween at Disney isn’t just a date on the calendar—it’s a complete takeover of the parks. Magic Kingdom bursts into fall colors, with lampposts wrapped in orange garlands and pumpkin-lined streets. Larger-than-life Mickey jack-o’-lanterns greet guests, and Cinderella Castle gets a moody nighttime glow.

You’ll see characters dressed for the season, from Goofy as a pirate to Minnie in a witch’s outfit. Attractions even get seasonal updates, and while the other parks share in the fun, Magic Kingdom’s nighttime event is where the real magic happens.

What Makes the Party Special

On select nights from August through October, the park transforms for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This separate-ticket event features trick-or-treat trails, rare character meet-and-greets, short ride wait times, and exclusive entertainment.

The “Boo-To-You” parade is a highlight, with dancing gravediggers and rare Disney characters marching alongside themed floats. The night ends with “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular,” a fireworks display hosted by Jack Skellington.

The Sell-Out Has Started

This year’s first party kicks off this Friday, August 15, and that opening night marks the unofficial start of the Halloween ticket scramble. Once the season begins, sales usually spike—and the remaining nights start disappearing fast.

Some dates are already history: August 15, 17, 19, 22, and 29 are sold out, along with September 12 and Halloween night. In past years, October dates went quickly, but now even early August nights are disappearing fast.

This isn’t surprising—Disney caps attendance for the event, making it feel more relaxed than a typical park day. But fewer tickets mean less time to secure your spot.

The Smart Move Is to Buy Now

With the party season starting this Friday, August and September are prime months for ticket sales. The longer you wait, the greater your chances of missing out entirely. Early purchases also save money, since prices increase for dates closer to Halloween.

Buying your tickets now gives you time to plan the details—from costumes to dining reservations—without scrambling.

Why Fans Keep Coming Back

The party offers more than candy. It’s the atmosphere: dimly lit pathways, the Headless Horseman’s ride, and popular rides with minimal waits. Exclusive snacks and limited-edition Halloween merchandise are another draw, often selling out before the season ends.

Before It’s Too Late

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an experience fans treasure, and this year’s sell-out pace proves it’s not slowing down. If you’ve been on the fence, now is the moment to grab your tickets—before this year’s Halloween magic slips away for good.
