Here’s the scoop: starting July 16, Disney introduced a bunch of new and updated dishes at Be Our Guest. The Endive and Walnut Salad is a brand-new appetizer with Roquefort cheese, green apples, and a champagne vinaigrette. Sounds fancy, right?

Then you’ve got the Pan-Roasted Arctic Char, which is the biggest standout on the updated entrée list. It’s got roasted potatoes, shaved fennel, and a citrus-caper brown butter that basically screams “fine dining.”
Desserts weren’t left out either. Guests can now try a Crème Brûlée Tart with passion fruit meringue and chantilly cream. But the real showstopper? A chocolate cake called the Blooming Rose, topped with “The Grey Stuff.” Yes, that Grey Stuff. Disney made it look as magical as it tastes.
Updated Dishes That Might Catch You Off Guard
Some longtime favorites are still here—but they’re not exactly the same.
The French Onion Soup now uses Swiss cheese instead of gruyère. That might not sound like a big deal, but soup lovers will definitely notice the difference.
The Mixed Greens Salad has gone full plant-based, losing its goat cheese mousse and gaining a simpler dijon vinaigrette.

And the Poulet Rouge Chicken? Totally reimagined. It now comes with roasted potatoes, pipérade, and sweet corn velouté, replacing the mustard sauce and sweet potatoes from before.
Fans React: Love It or Leave It?
Reactions have been pretty mixed so far. Some fans are hyped about the refresh. They think it was time for a shake-up. Others aren’t thrilled, especially those who had a “go-to” dish they now have to say goodbye to.

“This used to be my absolute favorite restaurant in Magic Kingdom,” one guest wrote online. “Now I’m not sure what to order.”
But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It might just be a chance to try something new. And hey—if it means better quality, fresher ingredients, and a more modern vibe, maybe that’s not such a terrible trade-off.
Still Worth the Reservation?
So… should you still eat at Be Our Guest? Definitely. The atmosphere is unbeatable. It still feels like you’re stepping into the world of Beauty and the Beast. But the dining experience is clearly evolving.
If you’re a foodie, you’ll probably love the changes. If you’re a creature of habit, you might need a few bites to warm up to them. Either way, it’s safe to say that Be Our Guest will never be quite the same again—and that’s exactly what Disney wanted.
