Disney World Announces $99 Hotel Rates for Early 2026

If you've been dreaming of a Disney vacation but cringing at those hotel prices, we've got good news. Walt Disney World just dropped a winter promotion that brings resort stays down to $99 a night—and yes, you read that correctly.

What's the Deal?

From January 4 through February 10, 2026, Disney Visa cardholders can snag discounted rooms across six different resorts. You'll need to stay at least two nights (they have to be back-to-back), and the deal mainly works for Sunday through Thursday stays. One more thing: you've got to use your Disney Visa or Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay the deposit, and whoever's name is on the card needs to actually stay in the room.

Here's What You Can Book

Let's break down your options, starting with the most wallet-friendly and working our way up.

At $99 per night, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort gets you in the door with a Standard Room. It's a value resort, sure, but you're still on Disney property with free buses to the parks and all the other perks that come with it.

Bump up to $199 and you're looking at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort—specifically the Village Standard Location rooms. This place has a beautiful lake, solid dining options, and that moderate resort feel without breaking the bank. For families needing more room, the Cars Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort run $299 a night and sleep six people. Plus, you get a kitchenette, which is clutch for breakfast and snacks.

Now we're getting fancy. At $399 per night, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge offers Standard Savanna View rooms where you can literally watch zebras and giraffes from your balcony. It's wild—pun absolutely intended. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has 1-Bedroom Villas at $429 that come with full kitchens, washers and dryers, and separate living spaces. Great for longer stays or if you've got a bigger crew.

Finally, Disney's BoardWalk Inn sits at $449 for Resort View rooms. You're right on the boardwalk with restaurants, shops, and street performers, plus you can walk to EPCOT. The location alone makes it worth considering.

Keep in mind these prices don't include taxes, so add a bit more to your budget.

The Fine Print

Not every room type is up for grabs. The Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation? Not included. Animal Kingdom Lodge took out all the Resort View and Water View options, along with the King Bed rooms. Saratoga Springs won't let you book Deluxe Studios at these prices. And across the board, forget about Deluxe Resort Suites or 3-Bedroom Villas—those aren't part of the deal.

Why January and February?

There's a reason Disney picked these dates. Early January through early February is typically one of the slowest times at the parks. The holiday crowds have gone home, kids are back in school, and Florida's still got pleasant weather (think 60s and 70s). Translation: shorter lines, easier restaurant reservations, and a more relaxed vibe overall.

The weekday focus makes sense too. Mondays through Thursdays see fewer visitors than weekends, so you're getting discounted rates during already-quiet periods. If you've got flexibility with work or homeschool your kids, this timing is perfect.

Is It Actually a Good Deal?

Let's be real—these prices are legitimately impressive. A Savanna View room at Animal Kingdom Lodge normally costs $600 or more per night. Getting it for $399 is huge. Even that $99 rate at All-Star Sports beats a lot of off-property hotels, and you lose out on early park entry and free transportation when you stay off-site.

The Disney Visa requirement isn't a dealbreaker. There's no annual fee for the basic card, and if you visit Disney semi-regularly, the rewards and perks (like special character meet-and-greets) make it worthwhile beyond just this promotion.

Should You Book?

Disney doesn't release unlimited rooms at promotional rates. They set aside a certain number, and when they're gone, they're gone. With only five weeks of availability and mostly weekday stays, your options are already limited. The deluxe resorts will probably fill up faster than the value ones.

If you're eyeing dates closer to Presidents' Day weekend in mid-February, expect those to disappear quickest. Early to mid-January likely has better availability.

Andrew Boardwine

A frequent visitor of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, Andrew will likely be found freefalling on Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or enjoying Pirates of the Caribbean. Over at Universal, he'll be taking in the thrills of the Jurassic World Velocicoaster and Revenge of the Mummy
