Starting April 13, the boat transportation connecting Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom will be temporarily unavailable due to dock refurbishment. The closure is expected to last until May 1, creating a short but noticeable shift in how guests move around that area of Walt Disney World.
If you’ve taken that boat before, you already know why people love it. It’s calm, it’s scenic, and it gives you a break from the crowds in a way that few other transportation options can. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about the experience.
During this closure, buses will take over as the primary transportation option.
