Christmas is getting closer at Walt Disney World, and families hoping to attend one of Magic Kingdom's biggest holiday celebrations may want to start making their plans.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party returns in November, bringing festive entertainment, special character appearances, holiday treats, and plenty of Christmas magic to the theme park.

However, tickets are already becoming harder to find.
Several party nights have sold out, including dates in November and December. With the first celebration approaching, guests now have fewer opportunities to experience the event.
Fortunately, there are still plenty of options for families who haven't purchased tickets.
As of October 16, 17 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates remain available, although eight nights have already reached capacity.
Here's everything guests should know about the remaining celebrations.
Disney World Confirms Eight Christmas Party Sellouts
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026.
Disney originally scheduled 25 celebrations, but eight dates are now unavailable.
The latest sellout involves November 13, which became the fifth November party to reach capacity.
Other sold-out November dates include November 9, 12, 17, and 24.

December has also experienced several sellouts, with December 1, 20, and 22 no longer available.
The December dates are particularly important for families planning to visit Walt Disney World closer to Christmas.
December 22 marks the final party of the season, meaning guests who haven't purchased tickets will need to choose an earlier celebration.
While these sellouts don't mean every remaining date will disappear immediately, they show that demand continues as the holiday season approaches.

For guests planning a Thanksgiving vacation, November 25 and November 27 remain options.
Meanwhile, families visiting in December have several opportunities to attend before the final two celebrations of the season.
December 18 is currently the latest available party date.
However, availability can change, and guests should check Disney's official website before purchasing tickets or adjusting their vacation plans.
How Much Will the Christmas Party Cost?
Attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires a separate ticket, and prices vary depending on the date.
For 2026, tickets range from $189 to $229 for guests ages 10 and older.
Children ages 3 through 9 receive a $10 discount, while eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members may qualify for additional discounts on select nights.

For a family of four paying adult admission prices, tickets alone could cost between $756 and $916 before applicable taxes.
That's a significant expense, especially for families already paying for hotel accommodations, transportation, and regular theme park admission.
However, party tickets include admission to Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m., even though the official celebration doesn't start until 7 p.m.
That gives guests three additional hours to enjoy attractions, grab dinner, and explore the park before the holiday festivities begin.
The party itself continues until midnight.
What Can Guests Expect During the Party?
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party offers several holiday experiences that help separate it from an ordinary Magic Kingdom visit.
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade returns with festive floats, Disney characters, holiday music, and Santa Claus.
Guests can also enjoy Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, which brings a seasonal nighttime spectacular to Cinderella Castle.
Another returning offering is Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, a holiday stage show featuring familiar Disney characters.
The event traditionally includes seasonal refreshments, character greetings, and additional Christmas experiences throughout the park.
For families who enjoy Disney's holiday entertainment, these offerings are among the biggest reasons to purchase tickets.
Guests interested in another seasonal celebration can also consider Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. As of October 16, tickets remain available for every scheduled Jollywood Nights event.
Should You Purchase Tickets Now?
With 17 dates still available, guests have time to choose a celebration that fits their vacation plans.
However, waiting could become risky for families with limited flexibility.

Anyone visiting Magic Kingdom for only a few days may have just one party night that works with their schedule.
If that date sells out, attending could become impossible without changing travel plans.
For now, the 2026 Christmas party season still offers several opportunities to celebrate.
But with eight nights already unavailable, guests hoping to experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party should consider purchasing tickets before their preferred date disappears.
