A small but beloved Disney World perk is slipping away again, and Passholders are hurrying to make sure they don’t miss their last chance. After a short-lived return, three popular Annual Passholder magnets are being pulled from circulation, ending a brief moment of nostalgia that fans didn’t want to let pass by.

Disney brought back the 2024 Stitch, Hei Hei, and Timon-and-Pumba magnets for a short run at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, giving Passholders a chance to pick up designs they may have missed the first time around. For many fans, these magnets are more than just decorations — they’re a fun, personal way to celebrate their connection to the parks.
But the window is closing fast. Disney confirmed that December 19 is the final day these magnets will be available before the perk ends for the remainder of 2025. After that, they’ll disappear once again, leaving many to look ahead to whatever new designs 2026 brings.
The magnet tradition has become surprisingly meaningful for Passholders. It’s one of the rare perks that doesn’t require a purchase or a waitlist. You walk into the park, pick up your keepsake, and add it to the growing lineup of memories you’ve made at Walt Disney World. Because of that, the end of this limited-time offering feels like losing a little piece of the Passholder experience.

Still, the Passholder program offers plenty of reasons to stay optimistic. Disney continues to roll out room discounts throughout the year, with savings as high as 30–35% depending on the season and resort tier. That alone can make a huge difference, especially for Passholders who enjoy staycations or short weekend getaways.
Dining discounts, merchandise savings, and perks like complimentary standard parking are also part of the package. Many Passholders take advantage of recreational offers as well, from golf to boat rentals to occasional price reductions on special events.

Disney has also added digital perks, including the Passholder Buzz section in the My Disney Experience app, where guests can find exclusive updates, videos, and curated information tailored specifically to the Passholder community.
So yes, losing the returning magnets is bittersweet, but it’s not the end of the tradition — just a pause. And with Disney’s habit of evolving and refreshing its offerings, there’s a good chance Passholders will have something new to look forward to as soon as the new year begins.
