6. You don’t have to wear Disney merchandise.
Walt Disney World is not a place of judgment; everyone is too busy having fun and spreading cheerful Disney magic! If you don’t have anything “Disney” to wear, and don’t want to buy any wearable souvenirs during your trip, then that is absolutely fine with Mickey Mouse and his friends. No one is going to wonder why you aren’t wearing a Minnie Hat or sporting Donald-Duck-themed sneakers—and when you’re on your vacation, you’ll most likely see for yourself that the percentage of Disney-adorned guests and non-Disney-adorned guests is fairly even. So wear what you’d like to wear (and what’s allowed in the parks (find out here) on your vacation, with an emphasis on comfort, sun protection, and fun!
