Disney World’s World Showcase Gets Updated, Pavilion Officially Changed

A new performance has arrived at EPCOT’s World Showcase, adding a live entertainment option to the France Pavilion. Acrobatico!, a high-energy acrobatic production, is now appearing multiple times daily, offering guests an up-close view of flips, aerial moves, and synchronized routines. The show is staged Sunday through Thursday at 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 5:15 p.m., with no Friday performances on the official Walt Disney World schedule.

Set against the backdrop of the pavilion’s detailed Parisian architecture and scaled Eiffel Tower, the new show comes on the heels of the closure of Forces of Nature by AntiGravity, signaling a change in EPCOT’s live entertainment slate.

The France Pavilion itself remains one of EPCOT’s most popular stops, offering guests a range of experiences. From enjoying a full meal at Chefs de France to savoring pastries at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, food plays a central role here. Families and fans of Disney-Pixar’s Ratatouille can ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, where the trackless vehicles transport guests through a whimsical kitchen adventure.

Elsewhere in EPCOT, the park continues to evolve. The World Celebration neighborhood was completed last year, unveiling CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza as new gathering spaces and festival venues. More recently, the reimagined Test Track opened on July 22 in the World Discovery neighborhood. Drawing inspiration from the original World of Motion, the attraction is presented by General Motors and now serves as a Tier 1 choice for Lightning Lane Multi Pass users, replacing Soarin’ Around the World.

With Acrobatico! now part of the France Pavilion experience, World Showcase guests have another reason to pause, watch, and enjoy a performance between attractions and meals.

World Showcase draws guests with its celebration of global cultures and variety of authentic experiences, but it’s equally famous for the unofficial Drinking Around the World activity, a favorite for those looking to sample beverages from every pavilion.

Thomas Hitchen

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
