Disney World Hotel Update: Fresh Guest Perks Are Now Active

Staying at Disney World's hotels comes with plenty of benefits year-round, but August is offering certain resort guests even more to enjoy. The Swan and Dolphin resorts have launched a full lineup of limited-time experiences, now available, including live entertainment, exclusive dining, and family activities throughout the month.

Whether you're spending a day away from the parks or simply looking for something to do after returning each evening, the resorts have packed August with special offerings designed to make a Disney World vacation even more memorable.

These Hotels Already Come With Major Disney Benefits

The Swan and Dolphin have earned a loyal following thanks to their prime location near EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. While Disney does not own either hotel, guests still receive many of the same perks offered at Disney Deluxe Resorts.

Visitors staying at the resorts can purchase Disney tickets onsite, ride complimentary Disney transportation, enter the parks early each morning through Early Entry, and enjoy Extended Evening Hours on eligible nights. Guests can also reserve Disney golf tee times in advance and book Lightning Lane experiences beginning seven days before arrival.

Those benefits remain available year-round, but August introduces an entirely new collection of experiences exclusive to this month.

August Concert Nights Have Already Begun

One of the biggest additions is the Swan and Dolphin Summer Concert Series, which debuted on August 1 and continues on August 8, 15, 21, and 29.

Guests staying at the resorts, along with visitors who purchase a resort pass, can enjoy evenings filled with live music, outdoor entertainment, specialty cocktails, and themed food trucks.

Rather than repeating the same event every week, each concert features its own food selections and beverage offerings, giving guests something different to experience during every performance.

Food and Beverage Menus Rotate Throughout the Month

The Summer Concert Series also introduces changing menus that evolve as August continues.

Bites on the Move serves exclusive dishes during the concert schedule, including bratwurst on a pretzel bun, tequila-lime shrimp tacos, braised beef tacos topped with pineapple salsa, smoked wings with a sweet-and-spicy glaze, and another taco offering to help wrap up the series on August 29.

The specialty drink menu changes alongside the food. Different beverage partners headline each event with themed cocktails, including bold mixed drinks during the early August concerts before transitioning to premium tequila and whiskey selections later in the month.

Because both the food and beverages rotate, guests staying for several days can sample something new every time they attend.

Special August Promotions Add Even More Value

The concerts aren't the only reason to spend time at the resorts this month.

Throughout August, families can receive a complimentary kids' scoop of ice cream at The Fountain when purchasing a child's entrée.

Several one-day promotions are also part of the schedule. National Chocolate Cookie Day on August 4 features discounted chocolate chip cookies at Java, Fuel, and Grounds. Then, on August 25, guests celebrating National Chicken Finger Day can receive a complimentary soda with qualifying chicken-finger orders.

These limited-time specials give visitors another reason to explore the resorts' restaurants between park visits.

There's Plenty To Do Beyond the Theme Parks

Guests looking to relax around the hotels will also find daily entertainment available from morning until night.

The Swan Boats operate daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In comparison, the resort water slide is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Outdoor games are available throughout the day, offering another option for families enjoying some downtime.

After sunset, guests can gather for S'mores on the Shore or settle in for Cinema on the Beach.

Families searching for additional activities can also take advantage of Camp Dolphin, which operates daily from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. Brena's Arts and Activities and the Fun Team Craft Station are also available each afternoon for an additional fee.

With so many choices available, it's easy to spend an entire day enjoying the resorts without feeling like you're missing out.

A Busy Month Awaits Swan and Dolphin Guests

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin have long been known for combining a convenient location with valuable Disney perks, and August builds on that reputation.

The Summer Concert Series, rotating food truck menus, specialty cocktails, dining promotions, and a daily recreation schedule all add something extra for guests visiting this month. Since these experiences are already underway, travelers arriving now can immediately take advantage of everything the resorts have planned.

For Disney World visitors staying at the Swan or Dolphin in August, the vacation doesn't end when they leave the parks. The resorts themselves have become destinations filled with entertainment, dining, and activities that keep the fun going long after the attractions close.
