Disney World Quietly Replaces Former Location, Unexpectedly Opens New Destination

Walt Disney World isn't waiting for major attraction openings to give guests something new to discover. Alongside the resort's recent wave of rides and entertainment, Disney has quietly introduced another addition that many visitors may not even realize is now open. The latest arrival expands one of the busiest areas outside the parks and gives shoppers another reason to spend time exploring during their vacation.

While the parks continue grabbing most of the attention, Disney has also been making noticeable changes elsewhere across the resort.

New Experiences Continue Across the Resort

It has been a busy stretch for Walt Disney World as new attractions and entertainment continue making their debut.

Disney's Hollywood Studios recently introduced Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, giving the longtime thrill ride a fresh identity while preserving the fast-paced experience guests know. The attraction has quickly become one of the resort's biggest draws.

Meanwhile, EPCOT welcomed Soarin' Across America, giving guests the chance to fly over some of the nation's most recognizable landmarks.

Disney has also expanded its offerings for younger visitors. Bluey's Wild World recently opened at Disney's Animal Kingdom, while Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! debuted at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Together, those additions have given families even more entertainment options during their vacations.

The updates haven't stopped inside the parks, though. Disney has continued adding new experiences throughout the rest of Walt Disney World as well.

Disney Springs Keeps Adding More to Explore

For many guests, Disney Springs has become much more than a place to shop. It's a destination where visitors can enjoy dinner, entertainment, and retail all in one visit, making it a popular stop before or after spending time in the parks.

Disney has continued to invest in the district by introducing new businesses and attractions that encourage guests to return throughout their vacations.

One of the biggest recent additions has been Level99, an interactive entertainment venue that offers a completely different experience from anything found inside the theme parks.

Now another recognizable name has officially joined the growing collection of shops.

A New Addition Officially Arrives at Disney Springs

Guests can now visit the brand-new Vans store, which officially opened on July 2 in the Town Center section of Disney Springs.

The location offers footwear, clothing, and accessories while showcasing a wide variety of the company's best-known products. A large shoe wall features classic styles, including the Old Skool, Authentic, Slip-On, and New Skool collections for both men and women.

The shopping doesn't stop with shoes. Guests will also find T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, shorts, and overalls, along with a dedicated kids' section carrying apparel and footwear for younger shoppers.

The store sits near The Polite Pig and World of Disney, making it easy to find while walking through Town Center. Guests driving to Disney Springs will find that the Lime Garage provides the closest parking.

More Openings Are Still on the Way

Disney isn't finished updating Disney Springs.

Later this summer, Six Ravens is expected to join the dining lineup, although Disney has not announced an official opening date.

Guests can already enjoy another recent addition with the Kakigori Kool cart, now serving Japanese-style shaved ice to visitors looking for a refreshing snack during the warmer months.

Together, these openings reflect Disney's ongoing effort to expand the shopping and dining district with fresh options that complement the experiences found inside the parks.

Disney Springs Continues Building Its Lineup

Major attractions often dominate Disney headlines, but smaller additions also help shape the overall vacation experience. Every new restaurant, entertainment venue, and retailer gives guests another opportunity to enjoy their time beyond the four theme parks.

The arrival of Vans adds another nationally recognized brand to Disney Springs while joining recent additions like Level99 and the Kakigori Kool cart. With Six Ravens also expected to open later this summer, the destination continues evolving into an even larger part of the Walt Disney World experience.

Guests planning a trip this summer may want to leave extra time in their schedule. Between the newest attractions in the parks and the growing list of experiences at Disney Springs, there is no shortage of fresh places to explore.
