Disney Springs’ Most Anticipated 2026 Opening Just Took a Major Step Forward

One of the most anticipated additions to Disney Springs finally has an opening date.

Level99 has announced that its new Disney Springs location will officially welcome guests beginning June 29, marking a major milestone for the interactive entertainment company and for Walt Disney World's shopping and entertainment district.

The announcement ends months of speculation from Disney fans who have watched construction progress on the former NBA Experience building.

In typical Level99 fashion, however, the company didn't simply reveal the date through a standard press release. Instead, it turned the announcement into a game.

An Instagram post challenged followers to solve a puzzle hidden within a video. Fans immediately started analyzing every clue, searching for numbers, letters, and symbols that could point toward the opening date. Social media quickly filled with theories, guesses, and breakdowns of the challenge.

The marketing stunt generated exactly what Level99 wanted: conversation.

That focus on interactive experiences is at the heart of the company's entire business model.

When the Disney Springs location opens, guests will find more than 60 challenge-based games spread across nearly 47,000 square feet. The venue will become the largest Level99 location currently operating.

Unlike traditional arcades, the challenges involve physical movement, teamwork, puzzle-solving, strategy, and quick thinking. Most activities are designed for small groups and take only a few minutes to complete, encouraging players to move from challenge to challenge throughout their visit.

Guests can compete against each other, work together in cooperative rooms, or participate in other interactive experiences spread across both floors of the venue.

The addition gives Disney Springs another major entertainment option at a time when the district continues expanding its appeal beyond shopping and restaurants.

For years, visitors have wondered what would eventually replace the NBA Experience. The building itself occupies a prime location and previously housed DisneyQuest, one of Disney's most ambitious indoor entertainment concepts.

Level99 now gets the opportunity to write the next chapter in that building's history.

Beyond the games, the venue will feature extensive food and beverage offerings, including signature pizzas, burgers, cocktails, and a large central bar designed to serve as a gathering place for guests.

Opening day could attract significant crowds as Disney fans, tourists, and curious locals all get their first opportunity to experience the new attraction. The company has even announced that the first 500 guests through the doors will receive a commemorative opening-day pin.

After years of uncertainty surrounding the building's future, Disney Springs is finally preparing to unveil one of its most unique additions in recent memory. Beginning June 29, guests will be able to test their skills, solve challenges, and experience a completely different kind of Disney Springs entertainment.
