Disney World Raises Prices on 2 Popular Nighttime Experiences

Another round of Walt Disney World price increases has arrived, and guests who like adding premium experiences to their park days could notice the difference.

Disney has adjusted the cost of Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with most adult options becoming more expensive. Meanwhile, EPCOT has made an even bigger change to its GEO-82 Fireworks Experience by moving away from one standard price.

Neither change will completely transform the cost of a Disney vacation on its own. However, they arrive as guests are already dealing with higher prices in several other areas around the resort.

Fantasmic! Dining Packages Cost More

Fantasmic! Dining Packages give Hollywood Studios guests a table-service meal along with guaranteed seating for Fantasmic! later that day.

There are currently four participating restaurants, and each has received some type of pricing adjustment.

At 50's Prime Time Café, adults now pay $62 instead of $60. The children's price remains $23.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant received the largest adult increase of the four. Its package climbed from $59 to $62 for adults, while the children's price remains unchanged at $23.

Hollywood Brown Derby was already the most expensive option and has become slightly pricier. Adults now pay $84 instead of $83, while children remain at $31.

Hollywood & Vine has a few more changes because prices vary by meal.

Adult breakfast increased from $67 to $68, while lunch and dinner moved from $82 to $83. Children's breakfast increased from $42 to $43.

However, there is one rare piece of good news. The children's Hollywood & Vine lunch and dinner package actually dropped by $1, falling from $53 to $52.

None of these increases are massive individually. Still, the difference becomes more noticeable when families purchase several packages.

A group with four adults eating at Sci-Fi Dine-In, for example, would spend $12 more under the new pricing than it would have previously.

EPCOT Makes a Bigger Pricing Change

Over at EPCOT, Disney isn't simply raising the price of its GEO-82 Fireworks Experience.

It's changing how guests are charged.

Previously, the 21-and-older experience cost $179 per person. The starting price remains $179, but Disney has introduced variable pricing that can push the cost as high as $194 depending on the date.

That creates a $15 difference between the least and most expensive dates.

Two adults could therefore spend as much as $388 for the experience.

GEO-82 includes guaranteed viewing of Luminous: The Symphony of Us, along with champagne, a tasting tower, and small desserts.

For guests interested in booking, the date they choose now matters considerably more. Someone visiting on a lower-priced date could still pay the old $179 rate, while another guest receives the same type of experience for $194.

Another Expense for Disney World Guests to Watch

These changes come as Disney adjusts prices across other parts of Walt Disney World.

Food and beverage prices have increased in various locations, and Disney has also made changes involving park tickets, select tours, and Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties.

That broader context makes these smaller adjustments worth watching.

An extra $1 or $3 for one dining package might not stop someone from booking. But Disney vacations are built from dozens of individual purchases, and those increases can accumulate quickly.

For guests planning to add Fantasmic! dining or the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience to an upcoming trip, checking the latest prices before setting a vacation budget has become even more important.

Disney hasn't taken these experiences away. They're simply becoming another part of a Disney World vacation where guests may find themselves paying more.
