Disney World Removes Reservation Requirement for Passholders on 3 More Dates

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will have three more opportunities to visit the theme parks without making a reservation before August ends.

Disney has added August 25, August 26, and August 31 to its Good to Go Days calendar. On those dates, eligible passholders can enter any Walt Disney World theme park without choosing a park in advance.

The additions give passholders more flexibility during the final stretch of the month, including a reservation-free option on the Monday before Labor Day.

Three More Good to Go Days Added

Good to Go Days allow Annual Passholders to visit Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom without making a theme park reservation.

Disney previously offered three Good to Go Days in August: August 2, August 3, and August 9. Those earlier dates have passed, but the newest additions bring the monthly total to six.

The complete August 2026 list is:

  • August 2
  • August 3
  • August 9
  • August 25
  • August 26
  • August 31

Pass blockout dates still apply. Entry also remains subject to capacity, meaning the Good to Go designation does not guarantee admission if a theme park reaches its attendance limit.

Reservations Still Apply on Other Dates

Disney has only removed the reservation requirement for the newly designated dates.

Annual Passholders visiting from August 19 through August 24 will still need a reservation unless they use the resort’s afternoon entry exception. The same rule applies from August 27 through August 30.

Passholders can generally enter the theme parks without reservations after 2 p.m. However, that option does not apply at Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.

Disney can add Good to Go Days as the calendar progresses, so additional dates remain possible. Passholders should check the My Disney Experience app before finalizing their plans.

What Happens to Existing Reservations?

Some passholders may have already reserved a theme park for August 25, August 26, or August 31. Disney will automatically remove those reservations from the passholder’s allotted total.

The original plans may remain visible inside My Disney Experience, but they will no longer use one of the limited reservation slots available with the pass.

Passholders do not need to cancel or change anything themselves.

Good to Go Days remain one of the most useful Annual Passholder benefits for guests who live near Walt Disney World or prefer making last-minute plans. Rather than committing to one park beforehand, they can decide where to go based on wait times, operating hours, weather, or attraction availability.

For now, August 31 is the final Good to Go Day listed for the month.
