Planning a last-minute Walt Disney World trip just became easier for Annual Passholders on three August dates.
Disney has added August 13, August 17, and August 26 to its list of “Good to Go” days for Annual Passholders. On those dates, eligible Passholders can skip one of the normal steps involved with visiting the parks: making a theme park reservation.
It's a small calendar update that could make a meaningful difference for anyone hoping to squeeze another Disney World visit into August.
What Changed for Passholders?
Annual Passholders normally have to consider theme park reservations when planning their Disney World visits.
Disney does provide exceptions. Passholders can generally visit the parks after 2 p.m. without a reservation, although Magic Kingdom is excluded from that rule on Saturdays and Sundays.
Then there are Good to Go days.
Disney selects certain dates and removes the reservation requirement for eligible Annual Passholders. Rather than waiting until after 2 p.m. or reserving a park in advance, Passholders can visit without making a reservation.
Three more of those dates have now landed on the August calendar.

Good to Go Days Give Passholders More Freedom
One of the appealing parts of owning a Disney World Annual Pass is being able to visit more casually.
Not every Disney World trip needs to involve months of planning.
A Passholder might wake up and decide that the weather looks good for Disney's Animal Kingdom. Someone else could finish work and decide to spend the evening eating around EPCOT. Others may simply want to ride a few attractions at Magic Kingdom before heading home.
Reservations can complicate those spur-of-the-moment decisions, particularly when Passholders want to enter earlier in the day.
Good to Go days make those trips easier.
They can also give Passholders more freedom to change their plans once they're already at Walt Disney World.
Don't Assume the Calendar Will Stay the Same
The latest update is also a reminder that Passholders should continue checking Disney's calendar.
Good to Go dates can be added, meaning Passholders shouldn't necessarily assume that a date requiring a reservation today will have the same requirement as it gets closer.
There is some certainty once Disney makes the change, too. According to Disney's Good to Go policy, once a date receives the designation, it remains a Good to Go day.
That makes these additions particularly useful for Passholders trying to decide whether another August visit fits into their schedule.
August Passholder Plans Just Got More Flexible
Disney World Annual Passholders already receive a variety of benefits. Those can include dining and resort discounts, select ticket discounts, attraction previews, PhotoPass opportunities and exclusive Passholder magnets.
Good to Go days are a different kind of perk.
There isn't a discount or free item attached to them. Instead, Disney is giving Passholders something that can be equally valuable during a busy Disney World visit: fewer planning requirements.
With August 13, August 17 and August 26 now officially on the calendar, Passholders have three more chances to leave the reservation step behind and enjoy a more flexible park day.
