Disney World Shows And Parades We Adore!

2. Happily Ever After – Magic Kingdom Park

There’s no better way to end your day at Disney World than with Happily Ever After. See what we did there? Prepare for an emotional roller coaster as you relive classic moments – both scene and song – from several Disney animated classics that span the decades, or rather the best part of the last century.

The best part? It’s all projected upon Cinderella Castle – the true icon of fairy tales. Prepare also for lights, lasers and fireworks in what is perhaps one of the most bombastic celebratory events across the entire resort. This dazzling show is easily one of the best ways to call time on the day’s adventure. Can’t you tell by the name?

1. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Star Wars Hollywood Studios

You didn’t think you’d make it to the top of this list without Star Wars being mentioned, did you? With the recently-released The Rise of Skywalker proving to be as extremely divisive as its predecessor, why not bring things back to basics where the faraway galaxy is concerned? It might be just what you need if your feelings on the movie are somewhat mixed!

Just like the latest episodic entry, there’s no shortage of galactic spectacle at this star-studded night-time event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The immersive, pulse-pounding experience features ground-breaking projection effects, lighting, lasers and pyrotechnics, all the while you lose yourself to John Williams’ iconic hair-raising score and unforgettable scenes from across the saga.

This list scratches only the surface of what parades and shows and other events are on offer throughout the resort. And with the New Year upon us, don’t forget that a number of the annual seasonal events are currently running too, such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (a special ticketed event) and Epcot’s wonderfully narrated Candlelight Processional. For more information check out the official Walt Disney World Resort website, and be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app so that you can keep tabs on showtimes and wait times.
