Guests heading into Toy Story Land now have more to do than race toward the nearest attraction.
Disney World has brought a new face into Andy’s backyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but this addition doesn't require guests to climb aboard a ride. Instead, Disney has introduced interactive games, videos, new graphics, and an expanded collection of music throughout the area.
The update also brings Toy Story 5 (2026) directly into the theme park.
Lilypad, the frog-shaped smart tablet from the newest chapter of the franchise, has officially made the jump from the movie to Toy Story Land. And she comes with plenty to keep guests entertained between rides.
Toy Story 5 Comes to Andy’s Backyard
Toy Story Land already surrounds guests with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Rex, and other familiar characters. Lilypad introduces a very different type of toy.
The character appears in Toy Story 5 (2026), in which technology plays an important role in the toys' latest adventure.
Disney has now incorporated Lilypad into Toy Story Land through a large screen rather than a traditional character appearance. Guests can encounter her while exploring the area without needing to enter another attraction queue.
That screen isn't simply there to display the new character, either.
Disney has filled Lilypad's park presence with activities that give visitors another way to spend time in Andy's backyard.
Guests Have New Games to Play
Lilypad's interactive activities tap into characters and stories from throughout the Toy Story franchise.
Guests can watch Lilypad use her drawing app and attempt to identify which character she's doodling. Another activity challenges visitors to unscramble puzzles that reveal familiar faces, including Partysaurus Rex.
Lilypad also displays “home videos” featuring the toys. One of those videos focuses on Forky and Karen Beverly's wedding.
These additions could be particularly useful for families who split up while visiting Toy Story Land.
One family member may head onto an attraction while someone else waits with a child who doesn't meet the height requirement. Others might be waiting for food or taking a break before getting into another line.
Instead of simply waiting around, those guests now have Lilypad's games, graphics, and videos at their fingertips.
And Disney has given her plenty of music, too.
A Bigger Playlist Arrives in Toy Story Land
Lilypad's expanded playlist mixes familiar Toy Story music with several new additions.
The screen displays different record graphics depending on which song is playing.
A red album featuring Buzz accompanies “Hay Un Amigo En Mi,” while a blue Forky record represents “I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away.” The Pixar ball appears on a black record for “You've Got a Friend in Me.”
Woody and Bullseye appear together on another red record accompanying a Woody's Roundup remix.
Disney has also introduced music created specifically for the experience.
“Spin It Back, Lilypad” plays alongside a green record featuring Lilypad. “Pizza Planet Promo” serves as the theme song for the famous restaurant, with artwork resembling a pizza and featuring a Little Green Alien at the center.
The playlist also goes deeper into the franchise.
“Partysaurus Rex Anthem” references Partysaurus Rex (2012), an animated short in which Rex embraces his fun side.
Guests can also hear an instrumental version of “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the Taylor Swift song created for Toy Story 5 (2026).
“Buzz Beats!” appears with a blue Star Command record, while a red album featuring several characters accompanies “We Belong Together.”
Disney mixes the music with Lilypad's games, videos, and graphics, keeping the screen from becoming just another soundtrack display.
There Is Plenty More to Do Nearby
Lilypad adds another option to a land already filled with attractions.
Guests can head to Toy Story Mania! for carnival-inspired games or ride Slinky Dog Dash, the area's family coaster.
Alien Swirling Saucers puts guests alongside the Little Green Aliens for a spinning adventure, while Roundup Rodeo BBQ gives families a table-service dining option themed around Andy's rodeo.
Lilypad doesn't replace any of these experiences. Instead, she adds entertainment between them.
That makes the addition especially useful during those stretches when families aren't all heading in the same direction.
Andy's Backyard Has a New Toy
Lilypad gives Disney World a direct connection between Toy Story Land and Toy Story 5 (2026) without requiring a new attraction.
Guests can stop to play a game, watch a video, listen to the expanded soundtrack, or simply see what appears next on Lilypad's screen.
For a land designed around stepping into Andy's backyard, Disney has essentially added one more toy to the collection.
This one just happens to come with games, videos, and its own playlist.
