‘Disneyland After Dark’ Events Are Back

The Disney Parks Blog has just announced that “Disneyland After Dark events are returning to the Disneyland Resort in 2022″! Some of the included events are Sweethearts’ Nite, Villains Nite, and Star Wars Nite, and Disneyland will be “offering more nights than ever before of each of these awesome limited-time, after-hours events”!

Since Disneyland After Dark events occur after regular Park hours, Guests get to “experience special offerings that are not typically available during a regular Park visit” and to enjoy access to the Parks at a less crowded time. Apparently, Guests will “get four hours of non-stop fun after the parks close to day Guests”; this is included “with each separately ticketed Disneyland After Dark event”. There is also a “three-hour pre-party mix-in at the same Park as the event takes place in, which is included with each ticket”.

Guests of these events will also get unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos from the party, “plus commemorative keepsakes including a souvenir credential and event guide map”. Sweethearts’ Nite will be on February 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th and 14th at Disneyland. Since this is a romantic event, you can “spot the most darling Disney couples, and take selfies with your favorites”. There will also be “fun photo opportunities featuring romantic scenes from iconic Disney films” and “lovely décor, along with food and beverage offerings around the Park”. This event will go from 8 pm to midnight, and tickets are $114 per person.

Villains Nite will be on March 8th and 10th, at Disney California Adventure Park. During this event, Guests can “party with some of Disney’s most mischievous misfits”. There will also be “a cunningly-crafted cabaret featuring a cast of villainous virtuosos showing off their talents through song and dance”, Ursula’s Seaside Sing-a-long, an Underworld Dance Party, “special photo backdrops”, and “some of Disney’s famously nefarious fiends – or their henchmen – at special locations around the Park”! This event will last from 8 pm to midnight, and tickets are $119 per person.

Star Wars Nite will be on May 3rd, 4th, and 27th at Disneyland. This will include “an amazing pyrotechnical spectacle that will illuminate the skies with a Star Wars-themed fireworks show”, the March of the First Order (“featuring Captain Phasma and her elite unit of Stormtroopers”), “a Galactic dance party”, and “sightings of various Star Wars characters throughout the evening”. You will get early admission to the appropriate Park at 5 pm for Sweethearts’ Nite and Villains Nite, with 6 pm being the early admission time for Star Wars Nite. This event will last from 9 pm to 1 am, and tickets are $134 per person.
