Disneyland Resort operates under a strict set of rules governing guest conduct to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. These regulations prohibit behaviors such as drug use, harassment, the unauthorized sale of goods, and “any activity deemed harmful or disruptive.”

Security cast members possess the authority to enforce these rules as they see fit, a responsibility underscored by Disneyland Resort’s declaration of their right to “prohibit activities” that threaten the family-friendly enviornment.

Banned From Disneyland Resort

Video footage of the incident surfaced from Instagram user @funnycoolvideosincalifornia. This Disney Park guest claimed that the man was banned from Disneyland Resort for his behavior:

While it’s unclear what initially caused security cast members to intervene with the man’s behavior, he appeared erratic in the video. He swung on a light pole, put his hands on a security cast member, sat on the ground, and was ultimately escorted out of the Southern California Disney park in handcuffs.

Many viewers interpreted the guest’s behavior as indicative of potential substance use.

Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort encourage guests to play an active role in maintaining the park’s safety and atmosphere. Visitors who witness inappropriate behavior are urged to report it to Disney cast members, trained to handle these situations carefully and responsibly. This procedural protocol emphasizes the importance of experienced security cast members in effectively de-escalating conflicts and managing theme park disruptions.
