Disneyland Resort will close two attractions indefinitely starting March 30, 2026: the Disneyland Monorail and Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin.
The Southern California Disney park confirmed both closures on its official refurbishment calendar on February 16. Neither attraction has an announced reopening date.
Upcoming Disneyland Monorail Closure

The Disneyland Monorail shutdown impacts guests who use the system for the 2.5-mile journey between Downtown Disney District and Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. The Tomorrowland entrance will presumably close as well, starting March 30.
Disneyland Resort recently filed construction permits for the historic Monorail system. Documents indicate upgrades to support pillars and electrical work, though Disney Park guests may not notice visible changes when it reopens.
The Southern California Disney park has not issued a public statement about its plans for the historic transportation system.
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin Maintenance

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin in Mickey's Toontown also closes March 30 for scheduled refurbishment. The dark ride underwent significant changes shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began, including updating Jessica Rabbit's role from being tied in a trunk in a sultry outfit to an active detective in the attraction's storyline.
Disneyland Resort hasn't specified whether the upcoming closure involves standard maintenance or additional storyline updates. The official calendar currently extends only through March 30, leaving the reopening timeline unclear.

Both attractions closing simultaneously on March 30 suggests Disneyland Resort is coordinating maintenance schedules, though no connection between the two projects has been announced. The Monorail closure will force guests to use alternative transportation between Downtown Disney and Disneyland Park, including the main entrance or Disney California Adventure Park's entrance, depending on whether they have Park Hopper tickets.
