A trip to Oga's Cantina took a frightening turn for one Disneyland Resort guest, whose viral TikTok video documenting a startling reaction to a Star Wars-themed cocktail has now been viewed millions of times.
The Drink Behind the Scare
TikTok user Mylee (@anaamyle) posted footage this week from a visit to Oga's Cantina, the bar tucked inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Filmed at the Disneyland Resort, the video has already garnered more than 4.4 million views in just three days.

The trouble started after Mylee finished her first drink and ordered the Fuzzy Tauntaun, a $21.50 cocktail combining Cîroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Simply Orange with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, and the drink's signature “Buzz Button Tingling” Foam. That foam derives its unique sensation from buzz button flowers, which contain spilanthol, an ingredient that creates a temporary, harmless tingling and numbing effect on the lips and tongue.
What Happened Next
Video footage shows Mylee laughing as she licked the foam, accidentally inhaling some of it through her nose. What followed wasn't the harmless tingle the ingredient typically produces. Her friends initially found the moment amusing, but their tone shifted quickly once it became clear Mylee was in genuine distress, prompting them to grab water and try to help her calm down.
“I genuinely could not breathe,” Mylee explained in a voiceover added to the video. “My throat and my lungs had needles stabbing me… And then the anxiety raising up.”
Commenters Share Their Theories
The video sparked plenty of speculation in the comments, with many suggesting Mylee had experienced a laryngospasm. According to the Cleveland Clinic, this condition happens when “your vocal cords suddenly tighten or seize up so you can't breathe or speak.” However, it rarely leads to serious or long-term complications and usually passes within around 20 seconds.
“This is definitely a laryngospasm,” said @roughneck_wife. “Super scary. It's happened to me before.”
“So scary! My dad, a fireman, always said if you can cough you can breath!” @doc.mellow reassured. “So as long as your coughing your okay and that soothes my chocking anxiety!!!”
Other commenters took a more aggressive stance, calling for legal action or a menu change.

Oga's Cantina has featured a warning about the foam on its menu since opening in 2019, and Disney cast members sometimes give theme park guests a heads-up about the tingling and numbing sensation before they order a Fuzzy Tauntaun. Whether Mylee received that warning isn't clear, and it's worth noting that inhaling nearly any substance through the nose can cause temporary discomfort or breathing trouble, regardless of the ingredient itself.
Fortunately, Mylee doesn't appear to have suffered any lasting effects from the experience.
