Two Disney Park Locations Closed to Guests in September 2025

Disneyland Paris Resort has confirmed that two popular areas within Disneyland Park will be temporarily closed to guests starting in September 2025. Construction walls have been installed around several entrances to Fantasyland and Adventureland, limiting access to this land to other walkways. While Disneyland Paris has not provided details on exactly what changes are being made in these areas, the closures are part of several ongoing updates across the resort.

The only European Disney park is hard at work on multiple expansion projects. Disneyland Park recently teased new nighttime lighting enhancements coming to Hyperspace Mountain. World of Frozen is preparing to debut in 2026 as part of Walt Disney Studios Park’s transformation into Disney Adventure World. At Disney Village, crews are putting the finishing touches on a brand-new McDonald’s location, which will replace the retro-themed fast-food restaurant that currently serves Disney Park guests.

On September 9, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport shared several photos showing the extent of the closures in Adventureland and Fantasyland. The images revealed that brown construction walls and faux plant scrims have been placed around a large section of the Disneyland Park areas, including a guest walkway and a landscaped area with several trees. This area, previously a major connection between Fantasyland and Adventureland, has now been completely blocked off, leaving guests with limited access to both lands.

🔧 Walls are also up around the Fantasyland to Adventureland passage. It feels like this was redone not that long ago

The closure near the Au Chalet de la Marionnette Quick Service dining location has not impacted operations at the restaurant. It remains open to Disney Park guests during the construction period.

While it’s still unclear exactly what Disney is working on in this space, the work could simply be maintenance or refurbishments, as the passage has been updated in the past. As always, Disney Fantatic will continue to update readers on this and all the latest developments at Disney parks worldwide. Stay tuned for more information as the transformation at Disneyland Paris Resort unfolds.
