To celebrate Disney+’s fifth anniversary, The Walt Disney Company is offering an exciting perk that’s bound to thrill theme park enthusiasts. Launched on November 12, 2019, Disney+ rapidly became a major player in the streaming industry, standing alongside giants like Netflix. The platform’s debut brought Disney’s extensive catalog straight into people’s homes across America and eventually to viewers worldwide.

At its inception, Disney+ was not just about beloved classics like Cinderella (1950) and The Little Mermaid (1989). The platform also unveiled exclusive new content that captured the hearts of fans, such as High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and the blockbuster hit The Mandalorian from Lucasfilm. These offerings broadened Disney’s reach, appealing to die-hard Disney fans and pop culture enthusiasts alike.

Fast-forward to today, five years later, and Disney+ is celebrating its journey with another special Disney+ Day. Historically, this celebration has featured events at Walt Disney World Resort and exciting announcements of new shows and specials to delight fans.

This year, Disney is doing something extra special for Disneyland Resort visitors. Starting on November 13, U.S.-based Disney+ subscribers can purchase discounted 3-day tickets to Disneyland Resort for $330. This offer applies to visits scheduled between November 18 and December 27. However, it’s worth noting that the offer does not extend to Disney World on the East Coast and is valid only for single-park entry per day—no Park Hopper option is included. Once activated, these tickets must be used within 13 days or by December 27, 2024, whichever comes first.

Additionally, there’s a sweet bonus for guests planning to stay overnight. As reported by Fox 11, Disneyland is offering a limited-time hotel discount. Visitors can save up to 15% on select stays at Disneyland Hotel, The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This offer is valid until December 18, 2024, subject to availability.

Street Party at Disney California Adventure, and the brand-new Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail at Downtown Disney District.

About Thomas Hitchen

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
