Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort – Why You Should Book This Fabulous Resort

Disney is certainly well-known for family-friendly theme parks, super shopping opportunities, and delicious dining options, but the resorts on property are what make the Walt Disney World Resort experience extra magical for guests. With so many resorts on property to choose from, it can often be overwhelming, but if you’re thinking of staying at a newly renovated property with a moderate price tag, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort could be the choice for you! Here’s why you should consider booking your stay with this amazing resort on property.

1. Moderate Pricing

A Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be pricey, and those who want to stay on property are often unsure and concerned about resort pricing. Each Walt Disney World Resort hotel features some incredible Disney magic that you don’t have to pay a fortune to enjoy. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort falls in the Moderate category, which falls right in the middle of Disney’s lodging pricing. Be sure to compare resort pricing with your vacation budget to determine which resort is best for your family, but know you won’t be breaking the bank with a moderate resort option like Coronado Springs!

2. Theming

Coronado Springs Lobby

Every great Walt Disney World resort features some sort of theme surrounding it, and Coronado Springs Resort is no different! Modeled after Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest American cultures, this resort features some amazing décor that immerses you in a variety of cultures. The resort is themed around different areas, also known as settlements, so check out each one to see how the theming works. Just like with any resort on property, be sure to walk around Coronado Springs during your stay to catch a glimpse at how everything is decorated down to every last detail!

3. Dining Options

The Walt Disney World Resorts boast some of the most amazing dining options on property that closely follow the theme of each resort along with some traditional bar and American offerings. With Spanish, Mexican, and American Southwest influences, you can bet that you and your family will find some fabulous food here during your stay. In fact, there are ten places to enjoy food and drink without leaving the resort! Grab an espresso at the Barcelona Lounge, enjoy some delicious wine at the Dahlia Lounge, take in a lakefront view at the Three Bridges Bar & Grille, taste some Spanish style tapas at Toledo, sample some traditional Mexican fare at the Maya Grill, stop in for a coffee or smoothie at Café Rix, try a variety of cuisines at El Mercado de Coronado, relax poolside with a drink at Siestas Cantina, try tequila and cocktails at the Laguna Bar, and watch the game with a burger and a beer at Rix Sports Bar & Grille. Three are classic leisure pools for relaxing and enjoying a swim while The Lost City of Cibola pool features some amazing play areas for kids, a kiddie pool for little ones, and a 123-foot waterslide. The pool is also centered around a Mayan ruins theme with a 50-foot Mayan pyramid as the centerpiece, which loops back around to how beautifully themed this resort is. This pool makes for an amazing afternoon of cooling off with the whole family as well as a great place to take some fun photos with your party. If you’re more of a hot tub person, the Dig Site area at The Lost City of Cibola pool is the largest one on Walt Disney World property!

This is found at every resort on property, but the Disney magic is certainly alive at Coronado Springs! The cast members at the resort are more than willing to help you make your vacation as magical as possible.
