Our Favorite Shopping Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort

One of the best ways to remember your Walt Disney World vacation is to bring home some amazing souvenirs to share with friends and family. But where does one get the best shopping experiences on property? What are some guest favorites from over the years that are worth checking out? We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite shopping spots around Walt Disney World Resort that you should check out on your next trip!

  

1. World of Disney at Disney Springs

If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for everything Disney (and I mean everything), stop by the World of Disney! From plush toys and clothing to jewelry, hats, and mugs, you can find just about anything that you could possibly want in this location! Plus, the store is also decorated beautifully and filled with all sorts of Disney characters and decor. Be sure to stop by to shop or just to look around the next time you’re wandering around Disney Springs!

2. The Emporium at Magic Kingdom

Looking for a one-stop shop at the Magic Kingdom? Stop by the Emporium on Main Street for all sorts of Disney goodies! This is the largest store in the park, so you are sure to find just about everything from shoes to Mickey Ears. This is a great place to stop if you need a break from rides or as you head out of the park after a fun day!

3. Mitsukoshi Department Store at Epcot

NOTE: The Pick a Pearl Experience is currently closed due to COVID-19 social distancing measures. One of the most impressive stores in all of the Epcot World Showcase is definitely the Mitsukoshi Department store in the Japan pavilion. Try on a kimono, sample some authentic sake, find plush toys of your favorite anime characters, take a look at some of the tasty Japanese candy, pick a pearl, and more. Both fans of Japanese culture and fans of shopping will love spending some time exploring this large and impressive shop!

4. Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs

The sweet scents emerging from this store will be hard for any sweet tooth to resist! Head on down to Disney Springs and check out the many sweets in Goofy’s Candy Company. Try some tasty candy and treats or build your own treat by choosing an apple, cookie, pretzel, or another base, dip it in a tasty sauce, and top it off with some tasty toppings. This spot is also great for picking up some candy and sweets for friends and family back home!

5. Windtraders at Animal Kingdom

One of the newest shops to hit Animal Kingdom’s World of Avatar is Windtraders, a fun gift shop themed around the Pandora area. Not only is this shop unique in its decor and overall design, but it features some fun gifts and mementos for Avatar fans. Take a look at the science kits for science lovers or pick up some unique Na’vi artifacts for collector friends. If you want a unique experience that continues to immerse you in Pandora, make sure to stop by!

6. Memento Mori at Magic Kingdom

Any Haunted Mansion fans in your group? Don’t miss this spot on your next trip! One of the most unique stores in all of Walt Disney World has got to be Memento Mori right outside the Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom. Take a look at all kinds of Haunted Mansion gear. This store is especially fun around Halloween!

7. Droid Depot at Hollywood Studios

Star Wars fans will love this fun shop and droid-building experience! At Droid Depot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests have the opportunity to construct their own R-Series or BB-Series droids. With the help of cast members, you can design your droid, assemble it, and pair it with a remote control to see just what it can do.
