Dollywood’s Harvest Festival begins on September 9, 2024, and runs through October 28. More than 12,000 pumpkins will take over the Great Smoky Mountain icon, transforming Dolly Parton’s Tennessee theme park into a fall wonderland.

Returning to the Harvest Festival this year are the Great Pumpkin LumiNights, a stunning display of carved pumpkins and larger-than-life art displays that bring guests back year after year.

Save room in your tummy because the Harvest food festival offers limited-time snacks like spiced pumpkin bisque, harvest apple lemonade, and maple-brown sugar pecan cinnamon apple stuffed sweet potatoes.

Visual and musical artists will take over Dollywood as more than 1,100 performers fill the theme park. The Harvest Festival coincides with the theme park’s music festival, the Southern Gospel Jubilee, from September 29 through October 28. Take advantage of free concerts as you enjoy seasonal treats and views!

Planning Your Visit

Dollywood opened in 1961 as “Rebel Railroad” and faced multiple transformations before country music legend Dolly Parton became a co-owner in 1986. It spans over 150 acres and features amusement park rides, arts and crafts, and tributes to Appalachian culture and music. During the warmer months, Dollywood’s Splash Country water park keeps guests cool!

When planning a trip, guests have two Dollywood resort options: Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Dollywood’s Heartstrong Lodge. Both feature theme park trolley transportation and come with perks like early entry, TimeSaver passes, free parking, and more.

Make sure to check out Dollywood’s newest ride, Big Bear Mountain! The attraction opened in 2023 and is the longest roller coaster at the Tennessee theme park.

Single-day Dollywood theme park tickets cost $82 per guest. Discounts are available for multi-day tickets, two-park tickets, and as part of resort hotel packages.
