Fans Rejoice: EPCOT‘s Most Hated Experience Is GONE

After just a few weeks of full availability, multiple flavors, including Italy’s notorious Beverly soda, have disappeared once again from several tasting stations in Club Cool at EPCOT.

Club Cool, which originally opened in EPCOT’s Future World area in 2005, underwent a relocation to an all-new storefront in World Celebration in 2021. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, the store is a popular spot for fans to sample a variety of international sodas and purchase full-size fountain drinks, slushes, and floats. One of the biggest draws, of course, is the selection of complimentary beverage tasting stations, where guests can try as many international flavors as they wish.

In February, EPCOT visitors noticed that multiple beverages began disappearing from the tasting stations at Club Cool. The first casualty was China’s Sour Plum Tea, followed by the Philippines’ Royal Wattamelon, and finally, the Dominican Republic’s Country Club Merengue.

Guests were met with “Please Try Another Flavor” signs covering the dispensers where these once-popular sodas used to be. Many questioned whether the missing beverages were just temporarily out of stock or if they would ever return. Some even speculated whether the shortages were related to rising international political tensions or the impact of promised tariffs on certain trade partners.

By the end of March, EPCOT had restocked all the missing flavors. But just when fans thought everything was back to normal, another beverage shortage hit, affecting even more flavors at Club Cool.

According to a report from WDWNT, three of the six drink stations at Club Cool are now missing flavors. The first station is missing Russia’s Cucumber Sprite; the third is missing Korea’s Minute Maid Joy Apple Lychee. Finally, the infamous Beverly soda from Italy has disappeared from the last station, leaving only three remaining flavor stations untouched. Given that these flavors were available during the earlier shortage earlier this year, increased demand may have contributed to their absence.

Despite the shortage, the three remaining drink stations still offer all their flavors, and guests can always hop over to the other stations to try any of the missing sodas. It remains unclear when EPCOT will fully restock the missing Club Cool flavors.
