Universal Orlando Annual Passholders are getting a little extra treatment at Epic Universe as the resort prepares for its annual Passholder celebration.
Universal has confirmed that Passholders can receive priority seating for The Untrainable Dragon during Passholder Appreciation Days.

It's a straightforward benefit, but guests will need to know when to arrive, what admission is required, and one stretch of September when the show won't be available at all.
Passholders Get a New Isle of Berk Benefit
Universal announced the offer through its Annual Passholder Instagram Stories on August 12.
Annual Passholders who want priority seating for The Untrainable Dragon should arrive 15 minutes before showtime during Passholder Appreciation Days.
That doesn't mean Passholders can arrive without valid park admission.

Separate admission to Epic Universe is required, and Universal says seating remains first-come, first-served. The company also notes that availability is subject to change.
In other words, Passholders should still plan ahead rather than treating priority seating as a guaranteed reservation.
For guests already spending a day at Epic Universe, the benefit could still save some hassle when trying to work a scheduled live show into an attraction-heavy day.
Inside The Untrainable Dragon
The Untrainable Dragon brings the How to Train Your Dragon characters to the stage inside Isle of Berk.
The live production lasts approximately 20 minutes and follows Hiccup and Toothless as they receive help from Gobber and Astrid while trying to solve a mystery. The show is intended for guests of all ages.
That makes it one of the entertainment options Passholders can work into their time exploring the land.
With priority seating available, Annual Passholders have an added incentive to check out the production during the resort's upcoming celebration.
However, the window for using the perk isn't quite as simple as the overall dates for Passholder Appreciation Days might suggest.
One September Closure Passholders Should Remember
Passholder Appreciation Days run from August 15 through September 30.
That's a lengthy window, but The Untrainable Dragon won't operate for all of it.
The show is scheduled for refurbishment from September 15 through September 20.
Passholders visiting during those six days won't be able to use the priority seating benefit because the production itself will be closed.

Anyone building an Epic Universe visit around the perk should therefore aim for dates before September 15 or after the scheduled refurbishment concludes.
As always, entertainment schedules can change, and Universal specifically says the priority seating offer is subject to change.
A Small Perk That Could Make Planning Easier
Universal Orlando frequently uses Passholder Appreciation Days to give its most frequent visitors something extra, and priority seating at The Untrainable Dragon fits naturally into that approach.
It isn't a private performance, and it doesn't guarantee admission to Epic Universe or even guarantee a seat at a particular show.
What it does offer is an additional option for Passholders who already want to see the production.

Eligible guests should arrive 15 minutes before showtime and make sure they have valid Epic Universe admission. Seating will remain first-come, first-served.
With Passholder Appreciation Days beginning August 15, Universal Orlando Annual Passholders won't have to wait long to start using the new benefit.
Just don't plan on using it between September 15 and September 20, when the dragons will be taking a short break for refurbishment.
