Essential Etiquette Advice for Walt Disney World Rookies

5. Dress Appropriately

When packing your ensembles, keep in mind that this is family-friendly park. (This means, leave the short-shorts and clubbing outfits at home kids!) Basically, don’t pack anything you couldn’t wear around your grandparents or in-laws. While people will wear clever t-shirts into EPCOT for bachelorette parties and The Food and Wine festival, just use your best judgment as to whether yours may cross the line. It is also worth noting that adults are not permitted to wear costumes in the park (with the exception of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party). Disney character-inspired outfits are welcome, so embrace your creativity if you are in a “Snow White” or “Donald Duck” mood that day!
