When it comes to family vacation memory making, itβs hard to beat a visit to Walt Disney World. That being said, there are things you can do to amp up the vacation magic for your family. Some of these experiences involve extra cost and some are free. Hopefully this article leaves you with ideas on how to push your Disney vacation over the top for your family.
Staying at a Disney Resort
There is simply nothing like being immersed in the magic throughout your stay. Staying at a Disney Resort on the property makes your vacation so much more magical by eliminating stress, showcasing resort themes and keeping the fun going at resort pools and arcades. Not to mention, skipping the Orlando traffic when traveling to the parks each day leaves you time and money ahead.
Meeting Favorite Characters
If your little ones are fans of a specific Disney film or character, do not miss the opportunity for a Character Greeting during your vacation. Check the show guide at the park entrance or the My Disney Experience App to learn when and where characters will be meeting guests. Shorten your wait time by reserving a FastPass+ time for your meeting time and watch as your kid run to meet his or her favorite princess, or film character.
Character Dining
What could be more fun than chowing down on some delicious Disney food with your favorite pals nearby? Character dining is such a fun experience that can add magic to your vacation. From Mickey and the gang to princesses and favorite Disney Junior characters, there are plenty of character dining experiences to choose from. If you are looking to save on character dining, consider booking a breakfast before hitting the parks. Breakfast at Ohana with Lilo and Stitch is one of my favorites as is breakfast with Chip and Dale at Garden Grill in Epcot.
Resort Cruise Combo
Sure this experience tops the charts, but does it get more magical than a Walt Disney World vacation and Disney Cruise combo? If you are looking for the ultimate experience in Disney vacationing, consider splurging on a Disney Land and Sea Package with Disney Cruise Line. You can start your vacation on board a Disney Cruise or at Walt Disney World and get the best of both worlds.
