Extra Magic Added to Super Zoom PhotoPass Shots for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

The 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort runs through April 2023 with special offerings around Disney parks and resorts including unique menu items, new events, merchandise, character experiences, and more. Among the exclusive offerings for the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort are new Magic Shots Guests can pose for with Disney PhotoPass Cast Members around each theme park, and they just got more magical!

Disney PhotoPass just took to Twitter to share a new glimmer effect that will now be added to super zoom shots taken at both EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. Take a look at the video below:

Super zoom shots are among the most unique Magic Shots Guests can take with Disney PhotoPass Cast Members around Walt Disney World, where Guests pose in one location and are able to download a photo that zooms out to show the Guests in the middle of the theme park.

While super zoom shots are currently available in all four Walt Disney World theme parks, however only standard super zoom photos are available in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at this time. The shots that come enhanced with the new glimmer effects are available for Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

To take a super zoom shot, simply head to the PhotoPass location in each Disney park where the photos are taken and the Disney PhotoPass photographers will be able to assist you. Photos may be downloaded from the My Disney Experience app, just note that you will need to purchase the individual photos if you do not have a package like Memory Maker or the PhotoPass upgrade included with a Walt Disney World Annual Pass.
