In 1997, unknown writer J.K. Rowling changed the world when she released a book about a young English boy who learned that he was a wizard. That book was Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. When the book arrived in the United States, it would be known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

That first book was the start of Rowling’s incredibly successful career, one that would launch her to billionaire status and see the publication of six more novels in the series.

Just four years after the publication of The Sorcerer’s Stone, Warner Bros. released the first film in the series. Fans could not get enough, and in addition to the films, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened at Universal Studios Japan, the Universal Orlando Resort, and Universal Studios Hollywood.

For decades, J.K. Rowling was the darling of the fantasy world. No matter how much time passed, fans continued to love Harry Potter. They loved him so much that Rowling was able to expand the Harry Potter universe with the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them franchise.

Sadly, over the past few years, J.K. Rowling has gone from a beloved author to someone people don’t want to admit they once liked. She has seemingly become the spokesperson for the anti-transgender movement. She has repeatedly said that transgender women are not women and would “happily” go to jail to defend those comments.

Rowling has now become known as a TERF — a Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist. She has even allowed her beliefs to destroy her relationship with Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). All three have spoken out against Rowling and she has said that she would never forgive them for what they did.

Many fans have wondered what the heck happened to Rowling and if she was always as bigoted as she appears to be now. And some think that they have found the answer, and it lies in some of her social media photos.

Rowling recently changed her social media profile photos, and eagle-eyed fans noticed a disturbing fact: The walls in Rowling’s home appeared to be covered in black mold. Continued exposure to black mold can have many effects, including some on the brain. It can cause inflammation of the hippocampus (the brain’s memory center) and inhibit the growth of new brain cells.

While living with black mold can be incredibly dangerous, fans are having a field day thinking about the ways the potential mold has caused Rowling to transform into a massive bigot, determined to attack transgender people every chance she gets.

After the images of Rowling’s home began going viral for the supposed mold, the author changed her profile photo. But the new photo got even more attention, and for all the wrong reasons. Instead of noticing Rowling, fans could not ignore what was behind her. They didn’t know what it was, but thought it looked a lot like a sexual object.

Of course, that profile picture did not last long either, and Rowling now has different photos on her various social media accounts. Sadly, the change in profile pictures has not changed her decision to target members of the LGBTQIA community.

Warner Bros. is currently working on a brand-new Harry Potter series for Max, and Rowling is set to serve as an executive producer. Fans have been calling out the studio for working with someone so transphobic, but their complaints have gone nowhere. However, the studio giant rarely talks about the writer and how involved she will be.

Do you think it was really black mold in J.K. Rowling’s home? Do you think she should still be allowed to be a part of the Harry Potter franchise? Let us know in the comments!
