Fantastic Favorite Experiences at Disney Springs

AMC Disney Springs

When one thinks of Disney World, the first things that come to mind are the theme parks. And that’s not surprising, considering there are six in total (including the two water parks). But what about the electrifying entertainment district Disney Springs? Does it get enough attention? We’d like to think so. But we’re going to talk about it anyway because we love it that much! It may not have any attractions of its own, but that doesn’t mean there’s no adventure to be had. After all, it’s just as lively and as thrilling as the parks. So let’s talk about what some of our favorite things to do at Disney Springs are. Whether it’s eating, shopping or playing, the hustling and bustling ‘hub’ of Walt Disney World Resort really does have it all.

6. AMC Disney Springs 24 –West Side

If you have some time on your hands after a day exploring the parks, then it’s time to shake off the sun, sit back, and enjoy a movie with your loved ones at AMC Disney Springs 24. You don’t want to spend your entire evening doing even more walking, right? Exactly. It’s the perfect place to put your feet up without missing out on the action. While there are countless restaurants and entertainment venues in the district, AMC Disney Springs 24 has it all. Enjoy the latest blockbuster in luxurious comfort and with state-of-the-art visuals and surround sound, and order food and drinks directly to your seat. What more could you possibly want from your theater experience?

5. The LEGO® Store – Market Place

Head over to Disney Springs’ very own LEGO® Store at Market Place to create your own custom minifigure. You’ve spent all day building your own adventure in the parks, and now it’s time to build your very own character – literally! Or you can simply browse all the other wonders of Lego (and believe us, there are plenty). Sure, there are over 100 shops in the district to choose from, but seeing as you only have limited time to build your own minifigure, we thought the LEGO® Store might be a fitting ‘piece’ for this article! It’s also a great place for the family to ‘re-connect’. Okay, we’re all out of puns here.

4Splitsville Luxury Lanes – West Side

Splitsville

Arguably one of the most entertaining venues in the district, Splitsville Luxury Lanes offers all-round fun for the family, from great food to retro music against a backdrop of 30 bowling lanes. Not much of a player? Don’t worry – if you pay close attention to most people around you, you’ll realize that nobody is! You’ll want to wipe your hands before each roll of the ball, though, as you tuck into mouth-watering pizzas, delicious burgers and excellent sushi. Just take note that Splitsville Luxury Lanes requires separate booking, as does its in-house dining experience. This joint is right up your alley – or lane!

3. Stargazers Bar – Town Center

If you’re after some of that Disney nightlife, then do so while gazing at the stars from the outdoor patio of Stargazers Bar. Enjoy galactically-themed cocktails and live bands at this vibrant venue located in Disney Springs’ Town Center. But if you feel like offering up some live music yourself then take part in Karaoke Fridays. Put your talent to the test and give those Disney Princesses a run for their money. Stargazers Bar is easily one of the most relaxed venues at Disney Springs, something you’ll no doubt welcome after a day exploring the parks.

2. World of Disney® – Marketplace

World of Disney

If you’re after the ultimate shopping experience at Disney Springs then look no further than World of Disney. The clue is in the name – it’s got everything you could possibly imagine, such as merchandise, apparel, collectibles, accessories, plush toys, souvenirs, home décor and more. The goods on offer here go to infinity and beyond – very true considering the constant turnover of lines! Another great thing about this store is its sheer size – after all, it has plenty to sell, so it needs all the space it can get. There’s also plenty to look at, so keep your eyes open and let your imagination run wild – and the kids too – as you feast your eyes on every inch of its detail and all its enormous range of gifts for every occasion.

1. NBA Experience – West Side

Whether you’re a fan of Florida’s very own Orlando Magic or the Toronto Raptors (my personal favorite!), the NBA Experience has something for everyone. Enjoy shooting some hoops with family and friends while a virtual crowd roars in support. Or visit the Arcade Area for a more retro experience on the court. Tickets aren’t included in park admission, but with 13 unique games and activities you could call it a slam dunk! It’s time to head over to West Side for a ‘court-side’ experience.

Perhaps it goes without saying, but the entertainment offered at Disney Springs goes far beyond this list. With over 100 shops, 60 eateries and 20 shows and events, be sure to take full advantage of the resort’s central hub.
