Free Perks, New Attractions, and Big Discounts – Disney Wants You Back!

Recently, it hasn’t felt like the “happiest place on earth.” But that may be about to change with these returning perks and discounts!

After years of rising costs and guest complaints, Disney World seems to be listening. Families have been loud and clear about what they miss—and what they can’t afford—and now the company is taking big steps to bring people back to the magic.

From long-lost perks to exciting new entertainment, here’s how Disney is trying to make things right again.

Classic Perks Are Making a Comeback

One of the most welcomed changes? Free overnight parking at Disney resort hotels is finally back. This was once standard, but the fee quietly crept in a few years ago, irritating guests who felt like they were being nickel-and-dimed. Now, resort guests no longer have to worry about paying just to leave their car overnight.

And that’s not the only shift in the right direction.

Big Discounts for Families

Disney has started rolling out seasonal ticket discounts and room promotions, with some serious savings. Families can now score children’s tickets for as low as $50 on select dates—a rare sight in recent years.

Even better, hotel guests can take advantage of up to 30% off room rates, making it more realistic to stay on property. That’s a huge win when you consider the added perks of staying at a Disney resort, like early park access and free transportation.

Vacation packages that include free dining plans and other extras help offset the overall cost and give guests more for their money.

A Wave of New Entertainment

Disney’s not just tweaking prices—they’re adding new magic to the parks, too.

  • At Hollywood Studios, the new Journey of the Little Mermaid show has arrived with stunning visuals, music, and live performances.

  • The highly anticipated nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, hasn’t debuted yet, but the excitement around it is huge. Fans are expecting big things when it officially launches.

  • For something a little darker, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After gives the bad guys their moment to shine in a new live performance. This spectacular features new music, classic Disney villains, and even fire effects.

Upcoming Attractions

And over at EPCOT, the popular Test Track attraction is being completely reimagined. It’s expected to reopen in late July with a sleek, futuristic look.

DinoLand U.S.A. is also getting a makeover. Animal Kingdom is changing the outdated land into Tropical Americas. It’s said to feature an Indiana Jones attraction and give the beloved Encanto some attention.

Magic Kingdom is also getting some love. A Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern is in the works, and fans are beyond excited for the long-rumored Villains Land expansion that’s finally in development.
