Something is off at one of the only free tasting experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. This week, EPCOT guests who made a beeline for Club Cool were left with fewer options than they expected.
Flavors Gone, Cups Swapped Out
Walt Disney World Resort guests arriving at Club Cool this week found the international soft drink tasting experience more crowded and less expansive. Three flavors had vanished from several of the self-serve machines: Minute Maid Joy Apple Lychee from Korea and Country Club Merengue from the Dominican Republic were gone entirely, while Sprite Cucumber from Russia had disappeared from most — but not every — dispenser in the space.
The missing beverages weren't the only thing guests noticed. The signature clear plastic cups printed with the red Coca-Cola logo were absent from several stations, replaced by plain opaque plastic cups with no branding. WDWNT documented the substitution on Facebook, sharing this photo of the generic cups sitting in the dispensers where the branded ones normally live:
Walt Disney World Resort may be simply waiting on a fresh shipment of Coca-Cola cups, and the change is purely temporary, but that hasn't been confirmed either way.
Disney cast members working the area reportedly couldn't offer any clarity on when the missing flavors would return or whether the cup change was permanent.

Club Cool has occupied a beloved corner of EPCOT for decades, one of the few genuinely free tasting experiences at any Walt Disney World Resort theme park. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, the space invites guests to work their way through soft drink flavors representing countries from around the world — no purchase necessary. For guests who find a favorite, full-size fountain drinks, frozen options, bottled beverages, and Coca-Cola merchandise are all available to take home.
The crown jewel of the Club Cool lineup has always been Beverly, the notoriously bitter Italian carbonated drink that has been ambushing unsuspecting first-time EPCOT visitors for years. Watching someone take that first sip without knowing what's coming is practically a rite of passage at Walt Disney World Resort!
