Disney’s Hollywood Studios has introduced a new holiday entertainment experience along Echo Lake with the debut of The Record Setters. The show is located between Center Stage and Dockside Diner, providing a scenic backdrop of water, seasonal decorations, and park activity. Running from November 8 through December 22, 2025, the performance is scheduled every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, with showtimes at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., offering guests many opportunities to fit the show into their day.

At the heart of The Record Setters are two performers whose mission is to prove they are the best at what they do by attempting a series of outrageous “world records” in every performance. Each show lasts about ten minutes and combines juggling, physical comedy, and audience interaction. The performers use a mix of holiday-themed props, classic stage items, and inventive stunts to keep the action moving and maintain an engaging rhythm. The acts often escalate, with each performer trying to outdo the other in increasingly complex challenges.

Donald Duck joins the duo during the show, bringing his recognizable personality and a touch of playful chaos. He occasionally interrupts the stunts, interacts with the performers, and becomes part of the comedic moments, giving guests a chance to see the character in a new, festive context. His appearances add humor and spontaneity, enhancing the holiday theme of the performance.

The interactive nature of The Record Setters allows the audience to feel part of the experience, whether through quick bits that involve guests or moments where performers speak directly to those watching. The combination of physical skill, comedic timing, and holiday energy makes this performance an approachable, family-friendly addition to Disney’s seasonal lineup, which also includes offerings such as Jollywood Nights.

Thomas Hitchen

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
