H2O Glow Nights Will Return to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Disney just shared some exciting news for Guests gearing up to spend the summer at Walt Disney World. With lots of events and experiences returning and reopening all around the Walt Disney World Resort, the latest update comes to one of Disney’s waterparks, with H2O Glow Nights coming back to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park later this year!

Disney H2O Glow Nights had previously been offered for two seasons at the water park, offering an exclusive after-hours party in the unique setting of Typhoon Lagoon. Inspired by the Toy Story short, ‘Partysaurus Rex,’ the events feature glowing wristbands for each Guest, a DJ, dance floor, exclusive merchandise, and a character greeting area with Toy Story characters (like Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie) and to experience many of Typhoon Lagoon‘s hit attractions with shorter wait times and the added excitement of riding after dark.

Along with specialty treats and small bites, past H2O Glow Night events at the Disney Park have also featured an adults-only area limited to Guests who are 21 and older with live entertainment and an expansive cocktail bar.

Specific dates and pricing details have not been released at this time, however, the planDisney podcast, which announced the news, shared that more information will be coming out on the events soon.

Disney H2O Glow Nights were last scheduled to take place in summer 2020, with tickets originally announced that January. Obviously, the events did not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but if it is helpful to see what we might be able to expect for this year, those Glow Nights were scheduled for select nights May 27-August 29.

In 2020, an early bird discounted event ticket offer was available for $65 with prices going up if Guests opted to purchase tickets at a later date.

Blizzard beach, the other Disney water park, remains closed for its annual refurbishment at this time with no confirmed date for its reopening so far.
