Heading to the Magic Kingdom Soon? Note the New Showtimes for Disney Enchantment

If you have a Walt Disney World vacation in the future, be sure to confirm the start time for Disney Enchantment, the current Magic Kingdom fireworks show ahead of your visit. The show’s start time is changing slightly beginning this Monday, May 16, 2022, and we don’t want you to miss out if seeing the fireworks is a must-do during your next Disney trip!

The entertainment schedules on Disney’s official website and the My Disney Experience app have been updated to reflect a start time of 9:20 PM for Disney Enchantment at the Magic Kingdom, beginning May 16, 2022, a change from its current start time of 9:00 PM. The show’s new start time is currently listed through July 22, 2022, so if you have a trip to Walt Disney World coming up this summer you will want to plan for the later start.

Disney Enchantment debuted on October 1, 2021, to kick off the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort, replacing the popular ‘Happily Ever After’ fireworks show that only began in 2017. The new show boasts an original song, ‘You Are the Magic,’ and a series of lasers, projections on Cinderella Castle and down the buildings of Main Street U.S.A., and of course outstanding fireworks.

If you do end up arriving late for the fireworks, you can always get a great last-minute spot for the show behind Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland. You will lose the projections on the front of the Castle but you won’t have to fight the crowds!
