Here Are Our Favorite Disney Resorts In Each Category – Deluxe, Moderate and Value

2. Moderate

Moderate Resorts are the most popular with families. As far as pricing goes, these are a good middle ground, and the benefits of these hotels match their pricing perfectly. They are a bit more plush than the Value Resorts, but not extremely elegant like many of the Deluxe Resorts are. This makes them ideal for many people.

Port Orleans French Quarter

Our first pick is Port Orleans French Quarter. We adore the fun, New Orleans theming here. The sea serpent water slide is too cute, and the delicious Cajun food served in their restaurant is amazing. Be sure to take a carriage ride around the resort for an extra fun evening, and keep your eye out for colorful characters which are scattered around the property.

The rooms at this resort feature gorgeous furniture and super comfy beds for relaxing in after a long day in the parks. We love them, and we know you will too!

Caribbean Beach Resort

Looking for a more beachy vibe? Caribbean Beach Resort is a wonderful, colorful, and relaxing place to spend a vacation. The resort just underwent some major changes, and in our opinion, they were super positive, making the entire place feel even more fun.

This resort offers both Caribbean- and pirate-themed rooms, and we love them both. We also love the Spanish citadel-themed pool with its amazing water slide. Of course, the waterfront dining at Sebastian’s Bistro is also a super fun touch.

Chelsea

Chelsea is a lifelong Disney fanatic who lives and travels full time in an RV with her son and husband. Their family takes full advantage of their unique living situation by visiting Disney parks on both sides of the country as often as possible. In doing so, the Gonzales family gathers loads of great tips and info about the parks, which Chelsea is thrilled to share with readers here.
