How to Compliment Cast Members at Disney Parks

Hoping to compliment Cast Members during your next Disney vacation? With so many ways to spread positivity and recognize those Cast Members who made your visit extra special, sharing compliments is easier than ever! The Disney Parks Blog shared a guide to sharing Cast Compliments, and these tips (and some extras listed below) can be a great part of any Disney vacation.

In-Person

The easiest way to share Cast Compliments in person is to stop by Guest Services before you make your way out of a Disney Park. In Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom, you can find Guest Services inside City Hall, whereas at other parks it will be in its own “Guest Services” building near the front of the parks.

At Guest Services, be sure to have the name, work location, and hometown or college of the Cast Member you’d like to recognize so the Guest Services team will be able to share your comments with them. You can find the Cast Member’s name and hometown on their nametags (or college if they are participating in the Disney College Program.) For a quicker run through Guest services, stop by sometime during your visit rather than on your way out of the park- Lines at Guest Services tend to form at the end of the night.

On Social Media

On social media, share your compliment also with the name and work location of the Cast Member along with the hashtag #CastCompliment. You can also tag any official related Disney accounts. With this method, Disney’s social team will see the request and pass it along to leaders at the Cast Member’s location.

Cast Compliments have been shared using this hashtag for a number of years now, and using social media to share compliments offers a quick and efficient way to share your thanks for Cast Members. Some Guests keep notes on their phones of Cast Member names and work locations and send off tweets when they have some downtime.

On the My Disney Experience App

The My Disney Experience app was recently updated with enhanced capabilities in sharing Cast Member compliments! You can now add Cast Compliments on the app, and include the Cast Member’s name and work location so their leaders can recognize them for their hard work.

The only downside to sharing compliments through the app is that you cannot fill in your own compliments. The app comes with prefilled compliments and you can select the one that works best. If you have a really specific compliment or story to share, you may want to share a post on social media or visit Guest Services instead.

Mail & E-Mail

It may feel old-fashioned at this point, but you can always send a letter or e-mail to the Disney Park you visited with a story recognizing a Cast Member for their hard work. To find the correct addresses and contact information, head to the website for the park and resort you need for the most up-to-date details.
