EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Replacement Will Now Take Effect on November 11

A headline act at EPCOT has changed with little warning. Walt Disney World Resort announced on Wednesday that The Beach Boys will no longer perform during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and a familiar friend of the Disney parks is stepping in.

On October 28, Walt Disney World Resort revealed that The Beach Boys have been removed from the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. The band had been scheduled to play the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure World Showcase Pavilion on November 11 and 12.

John Stamos and his band will take those dates. Stamos has collaborated with the Disney parks on several projects, including the recent Muppets retheme of Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.

Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor The Beach Boys has said why the performances were canceled.

Getting a Seat

Admission to the concerts is included with an EPCOT theme park ticket. Space is limited, though, and lines for seating often begin hours before showtime.

Guests who want a guaranteed spot can book a Table-Service dining reservation at an eligible EPCOT restaurant. Another option is the same-day dining package at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, the Quick-Service location in the American Adventure Pavilion.
