For Jurassic Park and Jurassic World fans, Universal Pictures keeps finding new ways to bring us face-to-face with our favorite dinos. From epic attractions like VelociCoaster and Jurassic World: The Ride to animated Netflix series such as Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory, there’s no shortage of prehistoric thrills. And with the upcoming video game “Jurassic Park: Survival”, the adventure continues for fans who want to experience first-person dinosaur action.

But if you’re looking for a real-world taste of the dino action, look no further than Jurassic World: The Exhibition. Billed as “the closest you’ll ever come to living dinosaurs,” this immersive experience lets visitors step right into the Jurassic World universe.

The official description reads: “Board the ferry to Isla Nublar and walk across the massive Jurassic World gates. Walk under a majestic Brachiosaurus, come face-to-face with ferocious Raptors, and get a rare up-close look at the most vicious dinosaur of them all, the Tyrannosaurus rex.”

The exhibition first debuted in London ExCel in 2022. Watch the trailer below:

The exhibition, open to all ages, allows guests to explore life-sized animatronic versions of their favorite dinosaurs, from the towering Brachiosaurus to the ever-menacing Indominus Rex. It’s like stepping into the Jurassic World movie—minus the fear of becoming a dino snack!

The exhibition launched this summer at Manchester’s Trafford Center, and it’s been a smash hit. Due to its popularity, the run has now been extended until January 12, 2025, giving visitors a chance to enjoy this dino adventure well into the holiday season, Manchester Evening News has confirmed.

Can’t Get to Manchester? More Dino Action Awaits

If you can’t make it to Manchester for this larger-than-life adventure, though, there’s still plenty of Jurassic fun on the horizon. Next summer, Jurassic World Rebirth will roar into theaters. The seventh film in the Jurassic series promises a fresh new story, with Scarlett Johansson—best known as Black Widow from the Marvel universe—joining the cast.

And the dino action doesn’t stop there! Two new Jurassic games are in the works: “Jurassic Park: Survival”, a highly anticipated first-person adventure, and a third game in the popular “Jurassic World Evolution” series, where players get to build and manage their very own dinosaur parks.

Whether you’re planning to see the exhibition or eagerly awaiting the next movie and games, the Jurassic phenomenon is alive and well. The exhibition promises a roaring good time for those who can make it, offering up-close encounters and thrilling experiences.
