Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) is generating major buzz as fans await the next chapter in the legendary dinosaur saga. Directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Godzilla (2014) and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), and written by Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) screenwriter David Koepp, the film marks the seventh installment in the franchise.

Starring Scarlett Johansson as covert operations specialist Zora Bennett, Jurassic World Rebirth follows her mission to retrieve “genetical material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs” on a mysterious island, where a “a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades” awaits, per the official synopsis.

With production spanning multiple countries—including Thailand, Malta, and the UK—filming wrapped recently, although reshoots are currently underway in New York. Amid these developments, a teaser has already made its debut in China, building further anticipation for what’s to come.

The teaser appeared as part of the 26th China Film Promotion Conference in Hengdian, Jinhua, from October 27 to 31. Per Jurassic Park Outpost, the teaser was shown during Universal Pictures’ presentation. The conference, which Jinhua Today describes as showcasing “the latest in film and television works, technologies, and market trends,” and serves as “a platform for domestic and international film production and distribution companies to connect and collaborate.” Major studios, including Disney, Warner Bros., and Sony Pictures, joined Universal at the event, emphasizing the global appeal of Jurassic World as it returns to the big screen.

However, fans hoping for new footage from Rebirth will be met with a slight disappointment, as the teaser only featured a “sizzle reel” of clips from the previous six films. Jurassic Park Outpost has detailed what was shown in their YouTube video, with the relevant segment beginning at the 3:07 mark.

The big question now is when the official trailer will be released worldwide. With Universal’s highly anticipated movie Wicked adaptation set to hit theaters in November, it’s possible that the first full teaser for Jurassic World Rebirth will drop alongside it. This timing would align with Universal’s usual promotional approach and would introduce the trailer to a wide audience.
