Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) is the seventh film in the Jurassic Park franchise, taking place five years after the events of the latest sequel, Jurassic World Dominion (2022). The film will usher in “a new Jurassic era,” with a fresh cast and crew led by Marvel icon Scarlett Johansson, who will portray a covert operations expert tasked with a critical mission.

That mission involves the “three most colossal dinosaurs that ever existed” and a “sinister, shocking” plot twist on a mysterious new jungle island.

Jurassic World: Rebirth was only announced in January, however, it’s scheduled for release on July 2, 2025. Promotional teasers including a logo reveal have already sparked considerable excitement among fans, while the swift progress of the film’s development indicates Universal Pictures’ confidence in the film being a huge success (the previous Jurassic Park six films collectively grossed over $6 billion worldwide).

However, no actors from the previous films, such as Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm) and Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), are slated to return, marking a distinct departure from the familiar faces that previously graced the franchise.
