Longtime Adult Hotspot at Disney World Closes Its Doors Forever

After more than two decades of boozy ballads, late-night laughs, and sing-along madness, Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk has officially played its final note.

The fan-favorite dueling piano bar — one of the last true nightlife escapes for grown-ups at Disney World — shut down for good on April 19, and if you were hoping it was a temporary closure… sorry, it’s not. It’s done.

Fans Showed Up in Force for One Last Round

The final night was nothing short of a packed house. One Reddit user shared their emotional recap of the experience:

“The line was (of course) crazy long. Me and my group waited about 2.5 hours. We snagged some seats and enjoyed the night. They closed out normal affairs around 12:30am. Then Scotty emcee’d and introduced all 8 players (including himself) one by one with the date that they started playing at Jellyrolls, and they each sang a song of their choosing.”

Then, it got really nostalgic.

“The second to last song played for the night was Piano Man (of course). Jellyrolls’ final song at the BoardWalk? Drumroll please… My Life by Billy Joel! They closed out with the first song ever played at Jellyrolls.”

Cue the waterworks. Fans and staff hugged it out, snapped selfies, and gave the legendary spot the send-off it deserved.

Another Disney BoardWalk Favorite Bites the Dust

This isn’t just the end of a piano bar — it’s another blow to the once-thriving Disney BoardWalk nightlife scene. Earlier this year, Big River Grille & Brewing Works called it quits too, and now Jellyrolls joins the list of gone-but-not-forgotten BoardWalk staples.

What’s left? Atlantic Dance Hall… which, let’s be honest, isn’t pulling the same kind of crowds.

Construction walls are already up around parts of the BoardWalk Inn, and Disney hasn’t said a word about what (if anything) is replacing Jellyrolls. Until then, the area is feeling more ghost town than go-to.

Still Want Nightlife at Disney? Here’s Where to Go

Jellyrolls was in a league of its own, but if you’re still chasing that adult-friendly energy inside the Most Magical Place on Earth™, here are a few hotspots that can help fill the void:

  • Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto (Polynesian Village Resort): Wild effects, crazy drinks, and tiki vibes.

  • The Edison (Disney Springs): Think Great Gatsby meets industrial steampunk.

  • Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar (Disney Springs): For your inner adventurer.

  • AbracadaBar (BoardWalk): Magicians, mystery, and strong cocktails.

  • Enchanted Rose Lounge (Grand Floridian): Fancy drinks and a classy vibe with Beauty and the Beast flair.

No word yet on where Jellyrolls’ piano pros will land next, but if they do pop up somewhere else — expect the fans to follow.

RIP to a Disney adult legend.
