A 34-year-old woman was arrested on February 28 after dumping iced coffee on a wheelchair user's head aboard the Magic Kingdom ferry, according to police documents released by the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Amanda Pinheiro Muir faces battery charges following the incident that occurred around 1:00 p.m. on a ferry traveling from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to Magic Kingdom Park.
Incident Details

The victim, identified as Linda, told deputies she and her husband, James, were seated on a bench waiting for other guests to disembark when Pinheiro Muir walked by. Linda, who uses a wheelchair, wanted to wait until crowds dispersed before exiting. She reportedly warned passing guests to watch her feet and asked her husband to help prevent anyone from stepping on them.
Pinheiro Muir reportedly responded: “I could just punch you in the face.”

Linda said she “laughed off” the comment. Pinheiro Muir then “threw her iced coffee directly into Linda's face and onto her body.”
A Disney cast member confirmed security footage showed Pinheiro Muir throwing the drink at the victim, who requested a security and law enforcement response.
Conflicting Accounts
When interviewed by deputies at the Magic Kingdom security office, Pinheiro Muir admitted throwing the drink on Linda, claiming the victim “was saying mean things about her son on the ferry.
